From the- TRAVELLING LADY
The night's just getting warmer.
He's just not someone on her way,
Oh! she wishes he was her lover.
She's spend the night with smell of lust,
When she was a prisoner.
And now he keeps her warm through the cold,
Until time; got older.
He sleeps now, here; his hair a mess,
In a perfectly imperfect manner.
And as the sun escapes the window crack,
She learns the scars on his shoulder.
But now he sees her, quiet and still,
Standing here, in the doorway.
I know she chose this journey before time,
But I pray, you'd tell her to stay.
Travelling lady! Its time to go,
The night 's almost over.
And even though he'as no word to share.
I know you wish he was her lover.

TWO
Make love tonight.
Not a whisper, Not a sound,
But tears in their eyes..
Two lonely souls,
Unite under the sky.
The Northern star stands witness,
To the magic so divine..
Two abandoned lives,
Find solitude in each 'ther's arms.
"Not a word, Not a promise
Was needed to be mine."
Two separated hearts
Now;Walk down different paths.
Distance would never separate,
The fire ignited by the spirited wine.

IF I STAY..
If I die, my love, don’t you cry;
Don’t wear black, grey or shades of white.
Don’t come with your lovely face hanging down;
Neither stain your divine eyes with teary glance; Not a
frown.
If I die, my dear, smile; Laugh,
Replay all my stupidities in your mind.
Laugh;as if I am there, right there;
Making faces at you, standing behind my garlanded frame.
If I die, my sweetheart, close your eyes;
And feel my words whisper in your heart.
Never was I brave enough to tell you when and why;
But then never did I know, today I was to die.
If I die, my all, know I’d live
If given a second chance, you’d hear me believe.
But now, right now, know I’d say;
Just that one thing. If only I could stay.

BEAUTY BEYOND BODY
“A thing of beauty is a joy
for ever:
Its loveliness increases; it will never
Pass into nothingness;”
-John Keats
Beauty. A word that cannot be merely
contained in carefully sewed combination of words. Neither can it ever have a
definite definition or face of reference. Its an emotion. It’s a work of art. It’s the colour of our soul, the sensuality of our character, the
fragrance of our thoughts. And it would
be no less a crime to just see it skin deep.
Beyond the body too there lies another
dimension. Below the layers of perishable skin lies a breathing soul. But many
at times we fail to understand this and are merely lost to our senses of sight
alone. Man has been blessed with five senses to feel, touch and experience in
different forms which gives us the real essence of everything around you. But
rarely do we use it.
I’ve found real beauty in a lot of people around me. When they extend
a hand of friendship. When they care even when they don’t have to. When they love us more than we ever hoped for, I’ve found beauty in them. I’ve found beauty in everyone’s eyes when they laugh with their heart. When
you smile without fear, YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL.
Every
persons looks more beautiful with each new day that we get to know the real
them.
Till date I believe that the most beautiful
creation of god has been a woman. Her beauty is impeccable and
immeasurable,flawlessly flawed. It lies beyond what meets the eye. Being a
daughter, a sister, a lover, a wife, a mother; her beauty has evolved beyond
measure...she can be as stern as a commander and as gentle as a morning dew.
But sadly, we objectify her. We attack her with our thoughts, words and deeds.
She ends up being a product of everything she has seen and everything she is
expected to be.
If we look carefully into famous history of
real people who lived before us, there was an era that glorified that beauty.
The real beauty of women, to be specific. Paintings, drawings, poetry,
sculptures, stories were written and drawn based on women who have inspired
them. In their eyes they see the beauty of a goddess, the tenderness and the
strength. And I believe that what they tried to capture was way beyond what our
eyes can conceive. Their art still lives but the women is ordered to perish in
her time.
Even ,when we see in general- as humans;
our expression is restrained and feelings are contained. Maybe that’s what I miss most about being a child. The
freedom to cry when I was sad, to laugh my heart out,to fight and let it all
out, to hug a person whom I loved. We were innocently expressing what we felt
and hence our minds were free and our hearts pure. Have we been keeping too
much to ourselves these days to even feel our own emotions? Nowadays, “I like u” means “I wanna go out with you”, “I love you” will be “I want to marry you and have kids with you”. If
someone hugs you it’s an open invitation to
exploit their body. When did we become so crude and shallow? Where did we lose
the actual essence of a relationship of every kind?
We live too feared now. Feared of the
society, feared of others and mostly just feared of ourselves. We fear our
thoughts. We fear that our actions might have a wrong implication. We fear a
touch, a hug, a kiss. If we live in fear, are we living at all?
I hope for a day we live freely and truly,
I wait for a day when one doesn’t have to think twice
to express ones emotions, when everyone is straight forward and there is no
malice hidden in our hearts. I hope one day our thoughts and deeds tally with
each other. I hope one day we are able to take a step back from who we are and
see everyone around us through a different perspective, as the most beautiful
forms of life,and not just objects for us to exploit for our selfish needs.
I hope one day we are not scared to
experience every form of love.
