Do re-play this famous school song in the stereo of your mind b4 you read this.
It had always been one of my fav and I loved bringing those words to pictures and imagining them in my mind “………mercy drop around us are falling……”. But little did I think, that my college life would gift me its own actual version of the song-“ there shall be showers of blessing…” excuse me, did I just say “blessing”?
Be it early morning, afternoon, or evening, I’ve always found it an impossible task, crossing our ROYAL RAJPATH without the fear ,of being hit by the unexpected enemy attacks from the skies above, engulfing me-helicops dropping their bomb. which left me confirmed that all the crows of Kerala, particularly Calicut, do visit our NITC once in a day.
Heads tilted 37’ north-above -watching for the “black “cats hidden between the branches, walking with an umbrellas in the shade or rather ,students preferring the middle of the roads than the well-spent –n-built pavements, with an aroma that defeats any perfume brand mix, ever combined by a human alive-The walk through the RAJPATH may seem a slightly unusual, n funny sight for the outsiders, but the innumerous stories -of feeling a wet, liquid coolness in your head when you are running for an already- late- W- feared class will let u realize their unmatched power over us. If our enemy friends can read “We accept our defeat!!”
So, to all those who are reading this now, One a last question if I may,”did u get your blessing today? ;p
Ps: how many of you can claim of not looking up atleast once…gotcha !!!!
