When the rainbows paint the sky,
Bloom and glow, may I ?
Through all the rain and the summer dew,
I’ll fly, when I’m invisible to u.
But if the sun’s ray shall sparkle upon me,
Touch me not, my dear;
For I might dissolve into me.
When the sun shines bright,
I’ll sing through to my hearts delight.
Like an angel from the sky,
With my white knight by the river side.
But if that melody shall lead you to me,
Touch me not, my love;
For you might stop my heart beat.
When the silver moon lights;
My heart would dance through the night.
And the winds shall lift me high;
Swaying like the winters butterfly.
But seeing me waltz in my dreams,
Touch me not, my dear;
For you might wake me from my dream.
